The Technology Association of Iowa's Legal and Finance clinic will visit the Davis Brown Law Firm on Tuesday, April 21. The topic of discussion will be "15 simple employment policies that will save time, hassle and lawsuits."
Davis Brown Law Firm attorney Jo Ellen Whitney and Rachele Kugel, MS, SPHR, GPHR, will review the primary principles of employment manuals including clarity, consistency, enforcement, escape routes, and other helpful policies for businesses.
Whitney is a shareholder in the Labor & Employment practice area of Davis, Brown, Koehn, Shors & Roberts, P.C. She works with clients on business planning and policies regarding staffing, discipline, and terminations. Kugel is the Human Resources Director of the Davis Brown Law Firm with experience in many areas of human resources and an Adjunct Instructor for Human Resources at Simpson College.
