Steve Roberts Receives Liberty Award from Iowa Juneteenth Observance Committee

Davis, Brown, Koehn, Shors & Roberts, P.C. attorney and name shareholder Steve Roberts was honored on June 23, 2009 with the distinguished "Liberty Award" from the Iowa Juneteenth Observance Committee for considerable work in voter registration and education.

The award presentation took place in the Secretary of State's Office in the Capitol Building in Des Moines, presided over by Iowa Secretary of State, Michael Mauro, and Iowa Juneteenth Observance General Chairperson, Gary Lawson. Polk County Auditor, Jamie Fitzgerald also received the award.
