Davis Brown Law Firm has a long-standing relationship with downtown Des Moines. Beginning in 1929 the Firm, then known as the Brammer Law Firm, moved into the Valley Bank Building. In 1938 the Firm became the charter tenant of the Empire Building with its attorney names appearing on the original architects’ drawings. In 1974 the Firm relocated to the Financial Center as a primary charter tenant. John Shors, senior shareholder of Davis Brown said, “It’s been exciting to be a part of the growth of this Firm and downtown Des Moines. This move accentuates our continued commitment to the city of Des Moines and the continuing development of our Firm.”
Davis Brown is dedicated to providing comprehensive client service through its two convenient locations. With offices in West Des Moines and the new building at 10th and Walnut, clients will continue to have access to a full service legal firm in the Des Moines metro area. Attorney Lori Chesser stated, “The move to a new building gives us the flexibility to redesign our space to emphasize client service and convenience, and to take advantage of innovations in technology. We think it’s a great opportunity for our clients and us.”
