Tom is a shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm in the Business Division. His practice involves Business Organizations and Transactions, Banking, Finance, and Securities.
He is the former Chairman and CEO of West Bank, and its owner West Bancorporation, Inc. Tom is active in the Des Moines community. He is currently chair of the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines, member of the North Central Bankshares Board of Directors, is the past chair of American Red Cross - Central Iowa Chapter, and the Iowa Bankers Association, and is chair-elect of the Greater Des Moines YMCA.
