Jason is a shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm in the Business Law Division. His practice concentrates on Commercial Transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Distribution and Franchise Law.
SUMMARY
Jason acts as counsel on the full spectrum of commercial matters affecting businesses, including purchase and sale of goods and services, licensing, commercial agency, product distribution and franchise. His practice also focuses on acquisitions and financings for private companies.
REPRESENTATIVE ENGAGEMENTS
His clients include franchisors, manufacturers, and vendors of a diverse array of goods and services, including food items, packaging materials, telecommunications services, agricultural products, and engine parts. Jason has been involved in acquisition transactions pertaining to telecommunication providers, medical equipment providers and manufacturers.
SEMINARS, LECTURES, AND PUBLICATIONS
Jason has written on trade regulation matters such as financial privacy and internet advertising. He has held presentations concerning the use of standard form contracts for business and insurance considerations for start-up ventures.
OF NOTE
Jason lived in Germany and speaks German proficiently. Jason is active in Lex Mundi, an international association of independent law firms, and works to develop relationships with legal professionals outside the United States to assist clients in international transactions.
PERSONAL
Outside of work, Jason enjoys traveling, skiing, and playing golf. He is a volunteer for Youth for Understanding (YFU) International Exchange.
